I recently purchased a used car from the dealership. I worked with Raul Rodriguez who gave excellent support and a great buying experience.
Starting from the arrival I felt like a valued customer. We talked through my questions and concerns, then we aligned on the car. We took a test drive, and everything went smoothly. Deciding to buy the car was a longer process for me 😁, and Raul was patient and supportive during the process. I went with the Toyota Financial Services to finance my purchase, which had some complications because of frozen credit. This was a mistake on my side, however, I would like to point out, that the callback from Toyota Financial Services didn't go smoothly, I feel some room for improvement there. This is not the fault of the dealership. While waiting, I added the new car to my insurance (which was also a great experience with SF), Raul helped with the details. After the application with Toyota Financial Services went through, Raul installed the temporary plate/registration. I entered Derek Battle's (loan officer) office and went through all the documents. We discussed the additional warranty options, most of which I didn't take. Derek was super helpful in understanding the options and accepted my "no" for multiple options without further ado. I took one of the packages for those components which are not covered by the warranty that comes with the car. We discussed the effect on the monthly payment. After singing I headed over to Raul, who organized the washing and cleaning of the car, refueled and put it on the charger. We went together to the car, where Raul helped with the connectivity (Toyota app, Bluetooth) and explained the operation of the car. He answered all my questions. After this we said goodbye and I was on my way. The following day I received a courtesy call from Raul about my experience with the car.
The whole process from considering the car to actually have it took 5 hours with the frozen credit issue and the Toyota Financial Services fiasco - sadly I cannot leave a review for them (@Team Toyota please convey my unhappiness with them). The dealership, Raul and Derek especially were helpful and very professional.
I recommend Toyota and this dealership in particular.
