2017 Toyota Highlander Elicits Smiles from MotorWeek Staffers

If you've kept pace with our blog page here at Team Toyota of Princeton, then you may well recall a post from late last month, in which we profiled our full-size SUV standout, the 2017 Highlander.

We mention this because it is that very conversation we'd like to continue today.

And now, here to help us pick up where we left off are our friends over at MotorWeek. Join them in the clip below for their review of the Highlander:

On most models, the Highlander receives a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine as standard. Coupling with a six-speed automatic gearbox, the base four-banger generates a healthy 185 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. It's available in front-drive form only.

A 3.5-liter V6 engine, meanwhile, is optional on the entry-level LE trim and standard on all others. Equipped with an eight-speed automatic, the V6 produces a plentiful 295 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, it offers all-wheel drive as an option.

To learn more about this handsome utility hauler, or to take one for a spin, we suggest you set a course for our Lawrenceville, NJ location. Our automotive aces are on hand to address your every query about the Highlander, or any other Toyota model within the current lineup.
