What's New on the Reimagined 2017 Toyota Corolla?

What do we here at Team Toyota of Princeton like about the 2017 Corolla, the Japanese automaker's recently refreshed compact sedan?

Well, if we're being totally transparent here ... everything. It is apparent that Toyota went to great lengths to make this version of the Corolla the best yet.

And so, with that in mind, we now encourage you to check the clip below. Here now with more on the latest Corolla is AutoGuide.com Managing Editor Jodi Lai:

There are two distinctive 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine options within the Corolla lineup. On every model except the LE Eco, the engine is rated at a respectable 132 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque.

A continuously variable transmission is standard across the range. We'd note, though, that the SE can be had with a six-speed manual gearbox, if you so prefer.

The four-cylinder of the mid-level LE Eco, meanwhile, boasts just a bit more brawn. Overall output checks in at a stout 140 horsepower and 126 pound-feet of torque.
